Mini Coles Haul!

Usually before every class i get snacks from Coles because it is on the way to my University but this time i needed to get nail polish remover. I ended up getting three products instead aha.

I have never tried nail polish remover from Coles before but priceline was on the other side of the shopping center so i thought i'd get just get it from Coles.
The quality is not that good, it takes AGES to remove the nail polish so i don't think i will purchase this same product again.

The Nivea pearl & beauty leaves white marks on clothes which is really really annoying! Because it is hard to come off :( however it smells really good and lasts longer!

The cocoa butter cream has a strong smell but it makes your skin really smooth! It is really good for dry skin but i don't think it evens out skin tone. I will do a detailed review about this product in a few weeks to see if this really works! :)

Hard As Nails

My nails are really weak, they always chip and break if they grow out a little long which is extremely annoying because i love long healthy nails.
I used to have healthy nails but i don't know why i don't anymore even though i seem to be eating healthier now than i ever did before haha. I don't take supplements for hair, skin & nails because i heard they have really bad side effects so i don't want to risk it. But yeah, i found this Sally Hansen Advanced Hard As Nails in COLES so i thought i'd try it out. It was for $9.97 but it's worth to try it out and see if it does work. They had a few types of Nail Care products but were more expensive and i just wanted to see if it actually works before i purchase the other ones.

It says you have to apply 2 - 3 coats on clean nails and i have tried it ONCE, i still can't decide whether i like it or not because i only used it once and it will take time for the results to show.
What i love about this product (so far):
  • It gives off a really shiny finish
  • It dries fast
  • The brush  is soft and the polish applies on easily
  • it is NOT TOO THICK so if you apply 2-3 coats it wouldn't take too long to dry
What i hate about this product (so far):
  • The smell is really STRONG

I will be doing another review on this after a few weeks if i get any results :)

What do you guys thick about this website? :)

Tiny Haul

So today i went to an information session at my university which was supposed to go for 1 hour but ended in 38 minutes! After the information session i thought i'd have a look around random stores.
I came across a gift shop and usually they don't have these type of pretty boxes but luckily i found this really pretty box and it was the only one left!

I still haven't decided what i'm going to place in this but i will surely find something! Even if i don't it looks good however it is :D

I got it for $8, this price would be too much for a normal box but it totally worth it for this one!

Get To Know Me Tag

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
I was born with dead straight hair then it went all curly but now my hair is wavey-straight which i like because i hate having curly hair!

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I've only dyed my hair TWICE, and didn't work well both tries because my hair is JET black so it's hard to dye it with those hair dyes you get at the stores.

3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?
I always want to try different hairstyles but then i always end up going to my one and only hairstyle which is now so boring! I don't really know what hairstyles suit me so i'm afraid of trying something new.

I love nail polish! I change it like around 3 or 4 times a week.

Just a few! A few mac products, chanel & dior! I wish i had more though

April 2013 Favourites

So April has passed by and it seems like this year is going by so fast! Like it's May already and after a few months this year will be over.

I decided to do the April 2013 Favourites post because since i just created a new blog, i need something to get me started and i thought this is perfect! :D

Even though i don't use the same make-up products every single day, these products were my favourite during the month of April. I used these products almost everyday and i still havent switched them.

Rimmel London Natural Bronzer, ETUDE SkinFit face compact, Elite blush brush, Revlon  beyond natural  creme eyeshadows and be beautiful eyeshadow palette.

This has got to be one of the best products i've ever purchased!
I purchased this from Pakistan, where i was looking for neutral eyeshadows for everyday wear when i came across this!
First i was really debating on whether i should get it or not because i didn't know how the quality would be and they didn't have any testers but then i decided i'll just get it.

What i love about this product:
  • The creme shadows are really smooth
  • They don't dry out
  • They can be used as eyeshadow bases
  • They don't CREASE at all!
  • The colours blend really well together
  • Was inexpensive, affordable!
  • The colours go really well with eachother
What i hate about this product:
  • It is hard to get the creme on the brush the first time you use it

I have tried many bronzers out there but i like this one the most because it gives you a natural sun kissed look which many bronzers don't.

What i love about this product:
  • Easy to blend
  • inexpensive
  • Natural sun kissed look
  • Can be applied easily
  • Can build on product
What i hate about this product:
  • The packaging could be better because the lid gets loose after a few times you open/close it

I LOVE Etude products because the quality is amazing and they have really pretty packaging! I got this from Pakistan too because i can't seem to find Etude cosmetics here in Australia, and even if they are; they're overpriced. I got this for around 1100 rupees, which is like $11 here.

What is love about this product:
  • It does not look cakey at all!
  • The packaging is pretty
  • It's pink ( i love pink)
  • It comes with a sponge so you don't HAVE to use a brush
What i hate about this product:
  • The compact does not close properly, maybe it's just mine

I got this palette for $5! Like it cant get any better than that! I keep looking for this again but i never seem to find any :( This Palette is like the best thing for starters! You can create day time to night time looks from this palette and the colours go with almost everything you wear! I know the palette looks disgusting but it's because i dropped it a few times and as you can see a few of the shadows are missing :(

What i love about this product:
  • The QUALITY! You don't even need to get high end eyeshadows because these are just as good in quality!
  • CHEAP, a palette with 9 eyeshadows and two blushes
  • The shadows don't crease
  • Easy to apply
  • The colours are vibrant
  • Pigmented
What i hate about this product:
  • The eyeshadows/blushes crack really easily
  • The eyeshadow pans aren't glued on properly ><

I got this blush brush from a warehouse sale last year for $4.

What i love about this product:
  • It's really soft!
  • Applies on blush really easily
  • Easy to blend
What i hate about this product:
  • The handle is about to come off
  • It is a bit too big for a blush brush, you get blush all over your face which gets really annoying

So this completes my April 2013 favourites!
I hope you all enjoyed reading this :)
